Now under construction in Winter Haven, LEGOLAND Florida will be just a 45-minute drive from the core Central Florida parks of Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando. Perhaps recognizing that this distance may still be a considerable drive for some tourists, LEGOLAND has announced the LEGOLAND Shuttle, which will begin departures from the Orlando Premium Outlets® - Vineland Ave. when the new theme park opens on October 15.

Says Kim Isemann, Director of Sales and Marketing: "We know that families traveling with small children want a safe and easy option to get from Orlando to LEGOLAND Florida. With the new LEGOLAND Shuttle, we are giving our guests both at an incredible value."

The shuttle will depart daily at 9 a.m. from Orlando Premium Outlets - Vineland Ave. -- convenient to Interstate 4 (exit 68) and International Drive. -- and return in the evening after LEGOLAND Florida closes. Guests must reserve their transportation on www.LEGOLAND.com under the “Buy Tickets” tab.

The LEGOLAND Shuttle is the result of a partnership with Annett Bus Lines and Orlando Premium Outlets - Vineland Ave. Guests will initially be able to use the shuttle at a special preview rate of $5 roundtrip, per person.

LEGOLAND® Florida opens in fall 2011 and will be a 150-acre interactive theme park dedicated to families with children between the ages of 2 and 12. With more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, LEGOLAND is geared towards family fun! There are currently four other LEGOLAND Parks in the world – LEGOLAND California in Carlsbad, LEGOLAND Billund in Denmark, LEGOLAND Deutschland near Günzburg, Germany and LEGOLAND Windsor outside of London. The LEGOLAND theme parks are a part of Merlin Entertainments Group, the second largest attractions operator in the world. For the most current information, log on to www.LEGOLAND.com.
